Cookie Dough Dip
You had me at "cookie dough". Anything cookie related is RIGHT up my alley so I whipped this up to dip strawberries, sliced apples ,or melon. It's just a fun alternative to the chocolate sauce that comes with the pre-sliced fruit platters. But honestly, who needs the fruit? I'm okay just eating this right off the spoon.
1/2 cup 0% fat plain Greek yogurt (I use organic Liberté)
3 tbsp. almond butter (or any nut butter)
2 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1 ounce semi-sweet dark chocolate (or 1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips)
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.
Garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate chips and serve with fresh fruit (if it can make it to the table...).
