Cherry Gar-chia Pudding
Cherries and chocolate just go together like peanut butter and jelly. So when I found these frozen organic dark sweet cherries (on sale, no less!) my mind went straight to one of my favourite Ben & Jerry's flavours: Cherry Garcia. This chia pudding flavour really is mind blowing and have you thinking you're eating dessert for breakfast.
1/3 cup chia seeds
1 cup unsweetened vanilla or chocolate almond milk
1-2 tbsp. cocoa powder (depending on how chocolate-y you like it)
1/3 cup organic frozen dark sweet cherries, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. maple syrup or honey
In a bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk until well combined.
Cover with Saran wrap or transfer to a tupperware bowl and let it set in the fridge for 1-2 hours or overnight.
Top with chopped cherries and chocolate chunks (because why not) and enjoy!
